Furnaces

AMHAC provides a full line of Carrier gas and oil fired heating products. They include 80% efficient furnaces, 80% efficient two stage furnaces and direct venting, high efficiency condensing furnaces which are over 90% efficient. The highest efficiency units currently qualify for a Federal Tax Credit and a Con Edison Rebate.

Boilers

AMHAC provides a full line of Carrier and Viessmann gas and oil fired hot water boilers. They include standard draft boilers and high efficiency direct vent condensing boilers. In addition, these boilers can also be used for radiant floor heating and hydro air heating systems.

Radiant Floor Heating

AMHAC provides a full line of radiant floor heating products. These products provide efficient and comfortable heating by creating a warm mass under your feet. Plastic piping is run under the floor to create an evenly distributed heating system that warms objects in the room, not the air. This allows the user to run their heating system at typically lower temperatures to achieve the same results as conventional heating systems. We can warm concrete floors in basements and garages, tile floors in kitchens and bathrooms and wood floors in any room. Geothermal water to water heat exchangers now allow us to use the earth as the heating source for radiant floors.

Hydro Air Heating

AMHAC provides a full line of hydro air heating systems. These systems utilize a hot water boiler to provide the source of heating. This hot water is sent to heating coils located in air handling units. These air handlers typically have outdoor AC units connected to them for central cooling. The hydro air design allows the owner to have multiple heating and cooling zones in their home or business. Units can safely be installed in attics, closets, garages and throughout the home to provide pinpoint control of these areas. The design eliminates the need to run gas or oil lines to the remote locations. The hydro air design is more efficient than multiple fuel burning units because a single boiler can do the same work as several furnaces. The flexibility of the hydro air design also allows for the production of domestic hot water, radiant floor heating, perimeter radiation, garage heating and snow melting systems, all from the same boiler plant.
